Meet Ashley :)
Last August, on a strangely cold-for-August day, Ashley braved the rain and cold and hopped in the creek wearing none other than a wedding dress and flower crown. I love it! This is the second time I've gotten in the water this much to get some epic photos. This is, however, the first time I did not ruin a camera and lens doing it. Score one for me!
This was seriously so much fun and it gave me an opportunity to get some great promo photos. We froze to death but we laughed a lot and I am so happy with this session.
Any of you ladies who might want to do something like this in your wedding dress, hit me up! This dress was actually given to me by my bff and it was customized so it took quite a while for me to find someone who could fit it - and Ashley was just perfect, we could not have asked for a better fit. And she was in the creek and dirt and whatever else, I threw this puppy in the washer and hang dried it, and it's just perfect. In other words, you don't have to ruin your dress to get some great out of the ordinary pictures. (That's not to say you can just machine wash any dress, I'm really no expert, but this is the third wedding dress I've been able to do that with and they've all been just fine. Just don't hold me to that for everything.)
