Yeah, I know, finally a year later and I post this. Sorry about that. :)However, this was one of the most epic sessions, eva. This one took a lot of preparation, of course! The girls all worked hard to get their outfits together and they ended up doing their own hair and make-up and the results were wonderful. This was also the first one I really did with a set - we had a little tea party table set up with beautiful cups with saucers and even a hookah, supplied by ......

Last year, for my summer modeling session, Deanna was willing to get all vintage-y and hang out in the oppressive heat for a bit, complete with very annoying mosquitoes! Of course, you can't tell that from the photos! She was just so darling, this is one of my favorite themed sessions with some of my favorite shots taken in front of the red building.

I love the part of spring where all of the flowering trees are in bloom! There are some that I just have to go see every year and last year I decided I needed a model for some. So I looked up Sara, I knew she was perfect for it! So we hit my favorite trees and a few more for some lovely spring time fun photos. ;-)

About 10 months before this session, I was inspired when I saw Katelyn in her homecoming dress and immediately pictured this. It got cold rather quickly though and everyone was so busy so we waited until school wrapped for the year. Her mom did her hair and make up just as I had envisioned.Of course... we had a ton of fun with this! I just love all of it from the dress and the setting to the hair, make up, glitter, mask, and my OWL. Everything!

I want to take a bit of a break from moving over my older blog entries to post Delani's session. I just finally finished posting the rest on Facebook. This was such fun! As you already know, my field of sunflowers this year grew with gusto (as opposed to last year!) and I did several family sessions around and in the flowers. They were getting close to dying though and I really wanted to do something one-on-one with someone before they were gone. Delani's mom had me ......

This was totally fun... in a word So, what's going on here? The furniture piece that Jaime is lounging on is a gossip bench or telephone seat. My grandfather had this one in his farm house and it has been passed on to me after he passed away this summer. It's not an antique but I can't find one just like it, one that it's supposed to be modeled after. We were guessing early 1900's style. The telephone came from a local pawn shop. I'd been eyeing it since the spring, even before I got the bench, ......

I have been putting off blogging... why? I have no idea. :) Just busy with everything else, I guess! Here are some photos that were done last December. I had originally done this shoot with someone else but the photos I am posting here (and have posted in my Facebook gallery) were taken by me only. There are more, of course, but these are my favorites. We're going to do this in one pop. This shoot was really great, I love it when an idea I have pans out, heehee. These are truly three wonderful w ......

Well, it seems I got distracted from blogging! Here are photos from Marie's portion of the photo shoot that took place in the rail yard. You know, the whole Runaway Bride thing. We all had so much fun on this shoot. We started the day getting hair and make up and were up north by early afternoon. Thankfully, we had some cooler weather than would be typical the last of June. However, I'd had to cancel part of my plans due to 40% chance of rain and thunderstorms. Turned out to be a good decision. W ......
