One year ago yesterday, I had the privilege of helping welcome this sweet baby girl into the world. This was the second birth I photographed for my friend Erin and I have to tell you, there's nothing like being there for the birth of a baby! Today we continue Aven's birth story with his birth!Since babies don't come except on their own time, I was on call a long time for this one. When the night finally came, I drove up to Erin and Jim's on a Sunday, arriving about 830pm. Erin wanted to labor at home so we all tried to sleep for a little while, but I was unable to.
