I first met Heather online back in 2009 when I was hospitalized with the pregnancy for my second child. My water had broken just before 21 weeks and I was spending weeks 26-29 (when she was born) in St. John's Mercy. Heather and I found each other, possibly through Baby Center, and were talking because in her own pregnancy, she was experiencing low fluid. We had a lot in common and continued to keep in touch. My daughter spent 3 months in the NICU and it was about the time of her release that I noticed the IP address from one of Heather's comments on my personal blog while it was her turn to be hospitalized. It clearly identified itself as St. John's Mercy wi-fi! I guess we'd never had a reason to discuss where we lived before then but what a hoot, finding out we were fairly local to one another! We also share a love of photography and we both know we can't "do it all." I have posted newborn photos I have done before but I do not technically "do" newborn baby photography. That work I head Heather's way. I love her work, not just in newborns, but especially with newborns and babies. She clearly has the touch!
