I met Bill & Charlene back in 2017 when we met to discuss their June 2018 wedding and I love the way they described their love story on the information form: "a chance meeting in Wisconsin that changed our lives for the better, for the rest of our lives." These two were definitely made for one another and it was such a pleasure to be able to photograph their engagement and wedding.
I've included a few engagement photos which took place on a blustery wintery day on the family farm in Ste. Genevieve County. It was a great place for an engagement session and we got lots of shots around the barn, house, and surrounding plant life.
The wedding took place at Grace Presbyterian Church in Crystal City, MO. This is a place that a lot of photographers love to visit the grounds of. It was a pleasure for me to be able to shoot inside for the first time. The sanctuary is beautiful and well lit, always a plus for a photographer.
After the ceremony, we completed formal photos on the grounds, then a few back inside, and back out for couple photos. When that was complete, we headed over to the reception at Frederick's in Festus. A wonderful meal catered by Lochirco's complete with roasted hog and followed by scrumptious desserts and lots of dancing... and candid photos!
It was a lovely day and I wish the best to Bill and Charlene in 2019 and beyond. :)
