Farmington Engagement/Wedding Photographer | Matt & Tracy's Engagement
November 15, 2014 10:48 AM Blog
I have already had the privilege of shooting Matt and Tracy's wedding in September, but we never did get around to sharing many of their engagement photos until now. We had a great time in July on what was thankfully a good day with decent weather and temperatures! We met on Matt's family farm and were able to utilize not only his grandparent's house but several areas of the farm including a beautifully golden, recently harvested field. The colors were just amazing. Here ......
Ste. Genevieve Photographer | Delani & sunflowers
September 8, 2014 12:51 PM Blog
I want to take a bit of a break from moving over my older blog entries to post Delani's session. I just finally finished posting the rest on Facebook. This was such fun! As you already know, my field of sunflowers this year grew with gusto (as opposed to last year!) and I did several family sessions around and in the flowers. They were getting close to dying though and I really wanted to do something one-on-one with someone before they were gone. Delani's mom had me ......
Ste. Genevieve Photographer | Kimberly & Ellie Mae, One Year Later
August 19, 2014 9:00 PM Blog
One year ago to the day, on July 4, 2013, I had the privilege of photographing Kimberly and her doggie Ellie Mae while Kimberly was currently going through chemo for breast cancer. One year later, we met again to celebrate the journey that she had completed. Here are some of our favorite shots. The blue and the red outfits both looked amazing in the setting we chose.View the album on Facebook! ......
Ste. Genevieve Children's Photographer | Bella, 1 Year Old
June 24, 2014 9:50 AM Blog
Here is sweet little Bella! Her mom was totally prepared for this session and everything came out so adorable. I loved it all! The outfits and the props, all of it. She even had grandma's pearl necklace for little Bella to wear and the canopy was just, well, totally awesome. Bella wasn't quite sure what to do with that cake, she was so dainty!View on Facebook! ......
Vintage Themed Photographer | Jaime, 1920's
November 25, 2013 8:43 AM Blog
This was totally fun... in a word So, what's going on here? The furniture piece that Jaime is lounging on is a gossip bench or telephone seat. My grandfather had this one in his farm house and it has been passed on to me after he passed away this summer. It's not an antique but I can't find one just like it, one that it's supposed to be modeled after. We were guessing early 1900's style. The telephone came from a local pawn shop. I'd been eyeing it since the spring, even before I got the bench, ......
Ste. Genevieve Photographer | Breast Cancer/Chemo - Kimberly & Ellie Mae
July 15, 2013 9:50 PM Blog
Kimberly is one of the sweetest and most loving people I've ever met. She is undergoing chemo and getting closer to being finished, then it's radiation, for breast cancer. She was only diagnosed in March and even though she's going through all of this, she still smiles. It was sort of funny how this all worked out - we had the same idea on the same day and started talking. There was lots of, that's what I was thinking! going on. We were going to celebrate where she's been and where she's going ......
Ste. Genevieve Wedding Photographer | Bart & Amber
June 2, 2013 6:48 PM Blog
Bart and Amber tied the knot on an absolutely gorgeous day in April of this year. It was a country wedding - out on the family farm, outside, even hay bales for guests to sit on during the ceremony all complete with a hay ride up the hill to the ceremony site and back down to the reception site. Very beautiful. I adored all of the decorations, the dresses, the bride's hair, and the cupcakes were to die for. A perfect day and I was honored to be able to capture it for the happy couple. I even had ......
