Today we continue Aven's birth story with his birth!
Since babies don't come except on their own time, I was "on call" a long time for this one. When the night finally came, I drove up to Erin and Jim's on a Sunday, arriving about 830pm. Erin wanted to labor at home so we all tried to sleep for a little while, but I was unable to. We ended up at the hospital around 1230am and things really got rolling from there. It was over 24 hours, by the time I got home, since I had been asleep... but I got to see the most amazing sunrise on the way home!
